Is Green Tea Good For Weight-Loss?

We often get asked is green tea good for weight-loss? And our response is an over resounding yes, that green tea is not only good but great for weight-loss.

Green tea can be used to shed pounds by dimming your hunger hormones and upping your calorie burn to help lose-weight. Oh, and green tea can also be used to lower your risk of heart disease and diabetes too.

You see, green tea has caffeine that can boost your metabolism, improve insulin activity, and increase fat oxidation. This process happens because EGCG inhibits and enzyme that breaks down the hormone norepinephrine. When this enzyme is inhibited, norepinephrine increases. And an increase in norepinephrine gives a signal to fat cells to begin breaking down fat.

So in this way caffeine and EGCG have a synergistic effect that naturally occur in green tea which is great for weight-loss.
